My first novel, I Am Not Thirteen, is now live and available for preorder on Amazon, Apple, Google Play, and other stores. It will soon be available on Scribd, most likely when it’s released on March 1st. The book is currently $0.99, but it’ll go up to $3.99 after it’s released.
The book is about a young woman, Amy Snowberger, who wakes up on what should be her twenty-sixth birthday, to discover that she’s gone back thirteen years into the past. She’s now thirteen, in seventh grade, and nobody remembers the intervening years—well, no one who’ll admit it, at least. Amy has to use all her intelligence, cunning, and a bit of luck to discover what’s happened to her and the world, and what she needs to change about the past to set things right again.
The book is set in Woodacre, California, a sleepy little forest town in West Marin County, California. If you’ve never been there before, I hope the book gives you a glimpse of the tremendous natural beauty of the area, and the eerie feeling that sometimes comes from being surrounded by centuries-old redwoods and other large evergreen trees.
This book was a labor of love, and I’m very glad to see it finished. I’ve finished a rough draft of the sequel, and am currently finishing up some short stories that I put aside while working on this book.
